| Tian Tong | The Blessing star: gentle, optimistic and easy-going. |
Tian Tong (Thiên Đồng) is known as the Blessing star of Zi Wei Dou Shu. It prefers harmony to conflict and ease to tension, and it has a way of making people around it feel comfortable. Its element is Water, soft and able to adapt to circumstances like a flowing stream. Traditional texts often describe it as "hard at first, easy later": comfort tends to come after some early struggle.
Tian Tong in the Life palace
People with Tian Tong in the Life palace are gentle, optimistic and get along with almost anyone. They are emotionally rich and value everyday pleasures such as good food, rest and fun. They dislike competition and do their best work in a relaxed setting rather than a contest. The risk is that seeking comfort leads to putting off decisions or seeming to lack drive, so setting their own goals matters.
How companion stars change it
Tian Tong often pairs with the Moon (Tai Yin), Ju Men and Tian Liang. With the Moon its feelings become even more refined, with an artistic, tender air. With Ju Men there is more inner worry, and misunderstandings caused by words need watching. With Tian Liang a caring, protective side grows, suiting helping work in welfare, health care or education.
Tian Tong in other palaces
In the Career palace, Tian Tong suits service, welfare and education, or a stable organization. In the Wealth palace, there is usually enough without great ambition, though a lot may be spent on enjoyment. In the Spouse palace, the partner is often kind and affectionate. In the Travel palace, a person is well liked away from home and makes friends easily.
Tian Tong and the four transformations
In the table this app uses, Tian Tong takes Hua Lu in Bing years, Hua Quan in Ding years and Hua Ji in Geng years. Hua Lu turns good fortune and enjoyment into real gains, and Hua Quan adds drive to its usual easygoing nature. In a Hua Ji year the mind is easily unsettled and emotional fatigue comes more easily, so look after body and mind. Tian Tong does not take Hua Ke.
Advice for Tian Tong people
Ease is a strength, and even a small goal turns that ease into power rather than idleness. When hard times come, there is no need to rush, since Tian Tong is the star that finds its blessings in the end.
