The Tian Fu star: meaning in the Life palace and other palaces
| Main star | steadiness |
|---|---|
| Tian Fu | The Treasury: stable, good at managing and keeping. |
Tian Fu (Thiên Phủ), "the heavenly treasury", is the star that gathers and protects wealth and resources. If Zi Wei is the head of the Northern Dipper stars, Tian Fu is the head of the Southern Dipper stars, and the two are seen as twin pillars holding up the chart. Its element is Earth, like Zi Wei, which makes it stable and generous. It is better at managing and growing what already exists than at starting something new.
Tian Fu in the Life palace
People with Tian Fu in the Life palace are calm and steady and come across as trustworthy. They are good at managing and preserving, so money or people left in their care are in safe hands. They smooth over conflicts before they grow, which makes them a solid pillar in any group. Because they value stability, they can seem reluctant to change or a little conservative.
How companion stars change it
Tian Fu often shares a palace with Zi Wei, Wu Qu or Lian Zhen. With Zi Wei, leadership gains stability and the strength to run a large organization; with Wu Qu, money sense for both earning and keeping grows strong. With Lian Zhen, passion is shaped into reliability in execution and management. Tradition says Tian Fu with Lu Cun fills the treasury, while Di Kong and Di Jie can leave it an "empty vault".
Tian Fu in other palaces
In the Career palace, Tian Fu suits management, administration and finance, or a long stay in a stable organization. In the Wealth palace, saving and keeping are strong, the type who builds wealth step by step. In the Spouse palace, the partner is often mature and good at running the household. In the Travel palace, a person earns trust outside and finds chances in stable settings.
Tian Fu and the four transformations
Tian Fu rarely receives any transformation. In the table this app uses (the Vietnamese traditional rhyme), Tian Fu takes Hua Ke in Ren years, a year when trust and reputation rise. Some schools assign the Ren-year Hua Ke to Zuo Fu instead, so this is a point where traditions differ. Tian Fu never takes Hua Lu, Hua Quan or Hua Ji, so its palace is usually seen as a calm one.
Advice for Tian Fu people
Keeping things safe is a great strength, but leave the door open to new chances now and then so the treasury keeps filling. Start with small challenges and stability and growth will come together.
